  • NASA Astrobiology Institute (NAI)

    Astrobiology is the study of life in the universe. This cross-disciplinary field addresses many fundamental questions concerning the origin, distribution, and future of life in the universe. The NASA Astrobiology Institute represents a partnership between NASA and a number of academic or other research organizations to promote, conduct, and lead integrated multidisciplinary astrobiology research and train young researchers.

  • Astrobiology Academy This summer semester program for undergraduate students, is operated at NASA Ames Research Center. The goal is to train students in fields related to astrobiology early in their careers and provide them with hands on experience in this new and exciting field.
